We were hired to produce a film with Swedish-sami rapper, actress and activist Maxida Märak to highlight the Indigenous Peoples' Day. The goal was to inform the viewers of the hardships the indigenous people have endured for hundreds of years. Sweden has been criticized by the UN for not respecting fundamental indigenous rights, including the right to land. Sami activists demand an end to exploitation.
